About
Kōhei Sugiura was born in Tokyo in 1932. A graphic designer and honorary professor at Kobe Design University, he developed a distinctive visual language for rendering consciousness and perception. His editorial design, book design, posters, and record jackets continue to influence designers across generations. Today, he is recognized as an authority in Asian image research and continues to curate and design exhibitions on Asian culture
